4th of July

We headed out for our local 4th of July Parade. We live in the city of Alpharetta, but are being rezoned into a new city (suburb) called Milton. It is only a year in the making so their is no post office yet, but we do have our own police and fire department now. It is still in the beginning phases but it makes for a little smaller community feel. Anyway this is their second annual parade so not many showed up, but it was fun. The girls liked dressing their bikes up and Jada couldn't stop talking about the clown (sorry didn't get a picture), anyway hope you enjoy! We are convinced if you ask Jada to smile she does just the opposite, such a stinker!

Watch Out!!!
Who needs a boy when you have Jada!!! Just kidding she is definitely the rambunctious little one but she loves her princess' and teaparties too! Don't worry no one got hurt, but we thought it was fun to watch! Those boys better watch out!

God Is So Good
You are never too old to learn, and believe me no one is too young or old to teach you... I just wanted to share the providence of God and how no one is too young to know the power of prayer. Our little Julia has taught us that. We received a phone call the other night from a friend who was experiencing some trials physically in her life. Julia overheard her daddy's turmoil as he tried to comfort this friend. She proceeded to interrupt and request that they stop and pray. Her daddy asked simply "will you pray Julia?" She lovingly took the phone and prayed such a simple prayer, but one of truth and sincerity that can only come from God above. It is not something you simply learn or copy, it is the miracle of God moving through you. Jesus was right when he said we should have the faith of a child, for I witness it daily and only hope I can grow to have that faith as well. Be blessed!
